At St Luke's Halsall CE Primary school we encourage our children to think of themselves as artists. We know that Art, craft and design embody some of the highest forms of human creativity. We believe that art should engage, inspire and challenge us, equipping us with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create our own works of art, craft and design. We are able to think critically and develop a more rigorous understanding of art and design. We aim to know how art and design both reflect and shape our history, and contribute to the culture, creativity and wealth of our nation.
